Home Built Aircraft

Around 1967 I decided that I wanted to fly airplanes so I called the Montreal Flying Club and made arrangements. Soon I was airborne…  Then along with a friend of mine Fred Wittek we decided that we would build our own aircraft. In 1969 we ordered the plans for a “Bushby Mustang ll” from the States and started to build from scratch every piece except for the engine, instruments and radio. It was an all metal aircraft that took close to five years to complete. Then on a cold winters day in January, 1974 our aircraft C-FFKT took its first flight out of St Lazare Air Field West of Montreal
