A lot of people find winter long cold and dreary. I find I get a lot on inspiration from the winter landscapes, watching the reflected light from the sky change the snow covered fields. One winter Evening a year or so a go I drove around a small island close to where I use to live in Montreal called III Bizard. The sun had just gone out of sight which rendered the sky, the clouds, and the snow in an unbelievable richness of colour. I could sense the warmth inside the house from the light emulating from windows and the smock calmly floating out of the chimney. It was truly One Winters Evening I'll always remember.
